Amitav Ghosh must be a versatile writer as his background shows. Thanks for a good book review. You have projected the beauty of Sunderbans and kindled the desire in us to visit such a wonderful place of West Bengal.I too was impressed by the quotes from the book , especially on tragedy of a routinely spent life.I feel that you have introduced a very good book to Sulekhites.I may like to read "Hungry Tide" to get the taste of a visiting professor of Harvard.
